COUNSELLING AND THERAPY
I am a therapist who works on the basis that the difficulties we encounter, can very often be traced back to past relationships and experiences. By creating a safe and strong therapeutic relationship, we will explore and gain insight into what the connection between your present feelings and past experiences might be, letting go of unhelpful messages and patterns, and reconnecting with and embracing emotions and aspects of yourself that have been suppressed. This will ultimately enable you to deal effectively with your current difficulties, moving forward toward a place of healing, wholeness and psychological wellbeing.
Engaging in the therapeutic process is not a quick fix and there are no guarantees, however in my experience, when the right connection between client and therapist is formed, there are very few issues that cannot be significantly relieved if not completely resolved.

THE FIRST SESSION will be a loosely structured session, and involve me finding out more about the difficulties you are experiencing and considering if I am in a position to help you. It is also your chance to see how comfortable you feel with me and whether you think we can work together. At this stage you can either book your next sessions or feel free to take some time to think about making a commitment to further sessions.
